Orphan Tears (later renamed Orphan Tears Part 1) is the 7th song released by Your Favorite Martian and the 7th video animated by Studio LadyBug. It follows Puff Puff, DeeJay, and Wax as they start hallucinating after drinking a strange alcoholic beverage, named Orphan Tears.

• Ray created the tear sound seen in many parts of the song.
• This is the first song to have a guest singer, Wax.
• This is the first song to change its Cover Art.
• This is the first music video to contain subtitles.
• This is the second song Benatar doesn't appear in.
• Wax wrote his verse in one take.
• Bill Cosby was also voiced by Ray William Johnson.
• This is the first video to be 1080p.
• This is currently the most viewed public video on the channel.
• This is the only song to have sequels.
  • Complicated and Take Over the World technically do have sequels (that being Love The Way You Lie and Eff This Job), however, the sequel names are very different, and it's debated if Eff This Job is even a sequel to Take Over the World, although many think so since both songs have a similar plot.
• Orphan Tears was accidentally released on 4/20.
• The sound of the tears dropping may be a reference to Can't Stop by Red Hot Chili Peppers due to them sounding alike.
• There is an animation error near the end, in 3:13, where Wax's mouth disappears for some reason, and it also appears near the start of the video. The mistake also appears in the trilogy remix.
• The version of the video seen in the old "Music Video" section of Studio Ladybug's website is still publically available.
• This is, retroactively the first out of the four songs to include a number in its title, the second, third, and fourth being 8-Bit World, and its Gen 2 sequels, being Orphan Tears Part 2, and Orphan Tears Part 3.
